We went for a pleasant stroll through les Catacombes de Paris and said "bonjour" to the remains of 6 million Parisians.

It snowed while we were in Paris. It was magically silent.

And the view from our window was just like Gustave Caillebotte's 'Rooftops in the Snow, Paris' (1878) in the Musée d'Orsay.

For my 21st birthday I was promised two tickets à Paris. A few years down the line and a few more pennies in our pockets we crossed the water and stopped in the city.

I took my camera and a selection of film, and left the rest to him.
